The Essex Safeguarding Children Board knows the importance of listening to children and young people.
We know that young people having a good understanding of healthy relationships, knowing how to report things when things don’t feel right, and keeping their online life private, are all crucial in helping to tackle child sexual exploitation. The results of this survey will help us develop greater awareness of the importance of child sexual exploitation and staying safe online.
What you tell us in this questionnaire will be combined with the views of other young people and will be reported anonymously which means your name will not be mentioned and no one will be able to identify you from our reports.
We appreciate that this is a difficult subject and you don’t have to share anything you’re uncomfortable with. If you write something that makes us worried that you or anyone else is not safe, we will make contact with your school to respond to these concerns.
